LADBROKE AUDIO PARTNERS WITH STORYTEL TO PRODUCE NEW TITLES FOR UK LAUNCH
In exciting news, we are proud to be partnering with our friends at Storytel as they bring their services to the UK market. Storytel AB is a Stockholm-based e-book and audiobook subscription service. It compares with Audible, using a monthly credit model, and is available in more than 25 countries. Its English audiobook service Audiobooks.com is available in more than 150 countries.
Ladbroke Audio will initially produce 9 titles in October/November, ranging from WWII romance, through science fiction and horror, to interpersonal stories.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for us to work with a publisher who believes whole-heartedly in audiobooks,” says Ladbroke Audio MD, Neil Gardner. “We’ve distributed our own titles through Storytel for many years now, and to now be partnering with them as they enter the UK market is truly exciting.”
