We love science fiction at Ladbroke Audio. From being the producers of the BBC’s Doctor Who audio titles, to creating sound design for Big Finish productions, we just can’t help raising a smile when someone mentions spaceships, aliens, time travel or alternate histories.
So you can imagine what a joy it was for us to be asked to produce the official audiobook novelisation of the forthcoming INDEPENDENCE DAY: RESURGENCE movie from 20th Century Fox and Titan Books. Not only did it mean we got an early heads-up on one of the most exciting sci-fi sequels of all time, but it meant we had the chance to work with one of our absolute favourite narrators, the legend that is William Hope. What a perfect choice as reader…the chap oozes SF movie experience. But away from anoraking about ALIENS or James Cameron or a million other cool SF things…he’s one truly fantastic narrator and a top chap to hang out with.
So get ready, for the 1st of June brings alien invasion and a whole heap of SFy greatness…we can’t wait to see the film, and then for everyone to listen to the audiobook.
